This article shows us that teenagers like us can also be a successful entrepreneur. One of the examples is Cyrus Pishevar. Cyrus Pishevar developed a Facebook application called the High School Memories after finding out how popular it is to ‘tag’ one another on social networks. It allows young people who are interested in becoming an entrepreneur know that it is not an impossible thing to do.
I feel that being a successful entrepreneur also needs knowledge besides creativity and this makes education important. I agree with Vivek Wadhwa, a visiting scholar at the School of Information at the University of California, that we should not screw up our education until you happen to achieve the success that Zuckerberg did. At our age, we should not risk our education just to become an entrepreneur because it is very risky and you might not succeed. You will be competing with other entrepreneur with more knowledge than you. Thus, I feel that teenagers should think before they make any harsh decisions if they want to be an entrepreneur at this age.
To summarize, I think that young people should really think before they act. Following your dreams is good, but always remember the risk of the choice you are going to make and make a wise decision. The article really shows us that it is not impossible to be successful entrepreneur at our age, just like Cyrus Pishevar, but don’t forget to enjoy being a kid because it is one important stage of our life.
